Child Center of Pennsylvania Honors Brian Houchins with Community Recognition Award

The Child Center of Pennsylvania is excited to present Brian Houchins of Mechanicsburg because the recipient of the 2023 community Recognition Award. This prestigious award is introduced annually to a person who has demonstrated exceptional dedication to enhancing the lives of youngsters in our neighborhood.
Brian Houchins , a dedicated elementary school trainer and group volunteer, has been an unwavering advocate for children's education and welfare. Over the previous ten years, his efforts have significantly impacted the lives of countless youngsters in Mechanicsburg and surrounding areas. Houchins' initiatives include establishing a free after-school tutoring program for underprivileged college students, weekend workshops specializing in literacy and numeracy skills for at-risk youth, and main a profitable community-driven marketing campaign to upgrade local playgrounds, guaranteeing protected and inclusive play areas for all children.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on January 15,The Mechanicsburg Community Center will host the ceremony for the award on 15th day of January in 2024. The event will feature speeches from local dignitaries, a presentation about Houchins' contributions, and the award presentation.
