Child Center of Pennsylvania Honors Brian Houchins with Community Recognition Award

The Child Center of Pennsylvania is excited to present Brian Houchins of Mechanicsburg as the recipient of the 2023 Community Recognition Award. This prestigious award is presented yearly to a person who has demonstrated distinctive dedication to improving the lives of kids in our group.
Brian Houchins , a dedicated elementary school trainer and community volunteer, has been an unwavering advocate for children's training and welfare. Over the previous ten years, his efforts have considerably impacted the lives of countless youngsters in Mechanicsburg and surrounding areas. Houchins' initiatives embody establishing a free after-school tutoring program for underprivileged students, weekend workshops focusing on literacy and numeracy expertise for at-risk youth, and leading a profitable community-driven marketing campaign to improve local playgrounds, making certain protected and inclusive play areas for all youngsters.
The ceremony for the award will be held on January 15,on the 15th of January,The Mechanicsburg Community Center will host the ceremony for the award on 15th day of January in 2024. The event will feature speeches from native dignitaries, a presentation about Houchins' contributions, and the award presentation.
